Thursday Thanks

Today I am thankful for my new friend, Oscar, who is pictured at left. He arrived yesterday courtesy of my aunt's partner, Bob, who handcrafted him. Bob wrote a note letting me know I can talk to Oscar whenever I want, but he said he is not sure if Oscar will talk back!

Every time I see my new friend, I will think about my Auntie Irene and her love, Bob. Theirs is a wonderful story of youthful love, separation, a lifetime with another, and reuniting in the sunset of their lives. Two people happier to be together cannot be found!
